I can now breath a sigh of relief
And it went fine :) Dave agreed to what I put on offer which is good, last thing I wanted was to be running back and forth to a lawyer and court fighting him on it.
He agreed to 6 contact centre visits. They will happen once a fortnight on the weekend for 2 hours. Then I said after he's done that I will be happy for him to have him for the day but NO overnight visits.
He didn't realise we had moved, I had to tell him that and he didn't sound very happy. Oh well. He sounded very shocked when the lady was saying "do you know where Ashton is living right now?" lol
So in about 4-6 weeks visits will commence, then it will be 12 weeks of contact centre visits, and I will be more comfortable with Dave taking him since he will be older and hopefully not so relient on my milk :)

Day 2
But today is day 2 and I feel better, still hanging badly, so staying home and keeping my mind off it. I know if I go out and see people smoking that it will be harder. I've also told people I am busy this weekend because I just couldn't handle visitors smoking and smelling it.
I went cold turkey when I found out I was pregnant with Ashton, it was pretty easy after the first few days. I know I can do it this time no worries, it's just getting past the first few days.
I just went to check on the boys because they were being very quiet up in their room, and Ashton was with them (I thought mischeif) but they were playing so nicely together with the dora and diego lego, even helping Ashton build his little house. He is getting so much better at building blocks :) I can't believe he is 10 months in 10 days. It's gone so fast!!
Here is another recipe for you all.
Chocolate brownies...
150 grams soft butter
1 firmly packed cup of brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup coca
1/2 cup plain four
Preheat oven to 150 degrees, grease and line a shallow tin (I use a square cake tin)
Beat butter with sugar until soft and fluffy
Add eggs, 1 at a time
Add coca and beat until mixed
Add flour and mix
Pour into tin and bake for 25-35 minutes depending on how gooey you like it.
Cool and slice... yummo!

Some photos for your viewing pleasure lol

Just a ramble...

Ahh kids all sleeping, house work done. How often does that happen?? ahh NEVER!
Just checking out ozebaby, wow @ Lesleys auctions It's awesome there will be more VHC nappies out there as they are SOOOO saught after. Love love love the cupcake one, gorgeous!
Who had sunshine today? Wanna send me some?? It's freaking cold. Actually scrap that, who is in the sunnier part of Aus? I'm coming to visit
Today we cooked rice bubble slice... basically LCM bars, came out a treat!!
3 1/2 cups of rice bubbles
170gm of marshmellows
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence
60 gm butter
mini m&m's (or whatever you like, sultanas, dried fruit, choc chips)
Some chocolate to drizzle over (optional)
melt butter and marshmellows, add vanilla essence and stir, pour in rice bubbles and m&ms and mix well. Flatten into a laminton tray lined with greaseproof paper, drizzle with melted chocolate and refridgerate. Slice once cooled.
Very yum! All up cost about $7 cos I didn't have marshmellows or m&m's or chocolate lol but makes heaps
So what did you do today?

Anything that can go wrong will?
The other day I sent off my 3 quotes for anglicare. They told me they would pay a removalist to move me if I got 3 quotes. What they didn't tell me was that they have an $880 limit! So my quotes were all over $1800!! So here I was, Thursday, waiting for them to call and they didn't, when I called Friday they told me that!! WTH I am supposed to move in 4 days!! Back to square 1...
So OK I said, i'll see about truck rentals since there is no way ill be able to do it any other way under that price. Friday I called Hertz, they faxed me a quote but I accidentally deleted it
So this morning I called back and got another one emailed first thing, then I emailed it to the lovely guy I am dealing with at anglicare, explained the situation that if I wanted this truck the company said they needed to know Monday so could he put it through urgently.
He calls back at 4pm to say it's approved (last time it took 2 days so he did well) so I called the truck hire company back and they said I can't have that truck anymore unless I want to drive it all the way back to Hobart Wed night!! FFS I had gotten the specific quote saying that it was to be picked up in Hobart and dropped in Launceston then they pull this shit.
So I hung up on the guy since he was being a rude pr**k and after bawling for 10 minutes I felt a bit better and it hit me to call the Launceston depot and get one from there. So Matt is driving it up Wednesday morning and we can drop it back off in Launceston at 6pm. Handy hey
Also today my lawn mower decided to cark it, mum can't watch Ashton tomorrow like she has all weekend and today because she has gotten the flu so now i'll be doing things with an Ash under my feet.
On the better side of things, Mark drove me here from Launceston on Friday and has stayed here on his week off work helping me pack and helping me move. He drove his ute here so that has been VERY helpful in tip runs and moving stuff

One day down..
Tonight we went up Mt Wellington to look at the pretty lights. It is so nice and quiet up there but it was very very cold. I hope it snows sometime in the next couple of days so we can head up before I leave Hobart.
Mum has been watching Ashton during the day and bringing him back at night. He has been an angel for her which is good. All happy smiles! It's hard leaving him for so long though, but it's only for a couple more days. I can't believe how much I miss him when he is there, helps though that they send me picture messages of him smiling and sleeping. He has been so good with the new bubba Harmony, he is so gentle apparently and pats her and kisses her lol I do go up there a few times a day to feed him so I get to see him sometimes but I miss him so much when I am here packing.
Right now... it's time to lay in bed and watch movies... Mark has chosen Stephen Kings IT first, should be interesting. I remember watching it as a kid and it scared the begeezers outta me and I couldn't watch the end!!

Poem for mums
The bed I made at 3:30,
The nappies soaked a little longer,
The odour grew a little stronger,
The crumbs I spilt the day before,
Are staring at me from the floor.
The fingerprints, there on the wall,
will likely still be there, next fall,
The dirty streads on the window panes,
Will still be there next time it rains.
"Shame on you old lazy-bones," I say,
"And just what have you done, today?"
I nursed a baby till he slept,
I held a toddler while he wept,
I played a game of hide & seek
I squeezed a toy, so it would squeak,
I pulled a wagon, sang a song,
Taught a child right from wrong.
What did I do this whole day through?
Not much that shows, I guess it's true...
Unless you think that what I've done
Might be important to someone
With bright blue eyes and soft blonde hair
If that is true, I've done my share.
